Anet, mum of two
Age 6 & 9, American- Bulgarian, British International School, Spain.
‘We just wanted to say a massive thank you for everything you teach our kids not only when you were their teacher at school but also as our private teacher for the last 4 years. Our kids (6 and 9 years old) have learnt a lot from you and we all love you dearly as an online part of our family.
You have been our adviser for everything kids could need at school being always present, assertive, exact, flexible and full of great ideas that make our kids not only learn new things but also think critically and become better persons.
We all appreciate and welcome as well your new holiday classes, kids adore them and they have tons of fun while they learn about maths, literature, science, critical thinking and human values. Thank you for contributing so much to our life!’
Sophia’s mum
Age 10, Russian, British International School, Spain.
What makes Dom different from other teachers?
He explains the topics through games and through topics that my child is interested in. Dom is very calm.
What do you think of the flexibility and affordability of the classes?
For us it’s great. It very convenient, because it’s online and we can have lessons during the term and the holidays.
What support does Dom offer outside of the class?
He is always available to answer quesetions that we might have about Sophia’s education.
What other impact has the classes had on your child?
My daughter has been studying under the British system for 1 year. As parents that are not from the UK we are not familiar with the British system. Dom has helped Sofia feel confident in her first year at a British school. Sofia always attends his lessons in a good mood and is always in a good mood after class. This is very important when a child trusts their teacher and enjoys the classes. My daughter feels confident and gets good grades. I don't know what we would have done without Dominic.
Why was extra support outside school important for you and your child?
My child's education is important to me. It is important that my child feels confident in the classroom. Individual lessons help gives her more time to ask more questions and help her spend more time on difficult topics.
How does your child feel after the class?
Very very happy!!!
Rosa
Rosa, Age 12, UK, British International School, Spain
Rosa and I worked together from Year 6 to Year 8. Rosa wanted a little bit of help and support for the transition from primary to secondary school.
In primary, classes stay with their teacher for the day whilst in secondary they move between classes and have different teachers. Some students want a little extra support to talk through topics that can be covered quite quickly in the secondary classrooms.
